An all new design for your early VW fan shrouds. Provides a 7.27% increase in airflow with the OEM fan.

Installation Instructions
Installation is simple. Just place the velocity ring on the lip of the air inlet, and using the tabs on the side as your guide, and a 3.5 mm drill bit, drill a hole in the side of the lip of the air inlet.
Once you have one drilled, go ahead an put the 8 mm long M5 x .5 bolt through, and secure it with the provided nylon lock nut, using 5.5 mm socket and 5.5 mm wrench. Don't overtighten.
Once the first one is in place, you can drill the other holes, just making just you can put the bolt through so that everything is aligned, while the single secured bolt with nut holds everything in place.
After that, just put the nuts on the bolts and tighten.
This makes it easily removable, so you can paint or powdercoat your fan shroud even after the velocity ring has been installed. Just remove the bolts and nuts, and your all set for paint or powdercoat.
Material and Build
The material is a glass filled thermoplastic, which is resistant to all automotive fluids.
